NMS has quoted for the most part on individual jobs, not long-term contracts... if they publish the value of an individual job, be it full-price, discount, introductory rate or whatever... then they have to charge that rate for everyone, for comparable work. No company wants to be charged more than it's competitors. If they ever did, their own shareholders would take them to task over it. Nor do NMS want to "tip their hand" and reveal to their competitors what it bid for the job. It is not in the interest of either party to publicly disclose the actual price negotiated.
Take Boeing for instance, one of the world's largest companies... they make lots of large, high-profile sales to other high-profile companies around the world. They report profit and loss same as anyone. They advertise "list prices" for their products. They make announcements when major sales have been made. But they never, ever reveal the actual price that they charge their customers.
