The XJO close slightly lower on Friday
Volume dropped to well below average, which also kept the spread narrow - no 'oomph' in the market.
Trading was generally tentative, but the potential buying on Thursday remains held.
The relatively poor close reflects the reduced volume (effort) today, which combined with the usual Friday afternoon selling pressure, kept the close down near the low of the session.
