Just as the weakening of the US Dollar allowed some markets to rise with relative ease (with a tail wind),
The increasing strength of the US Dollar will dull the performance of those same markets (provide a head wind).
Those really strong markets may continue to rise, just with reduced vigour.
The weaker markets however may lose some ground in response to the increased strength.
The last two weeks have seen the first suggestion of emerging strength in the US Dollar.
No guarantees it will even complete yet, but some increased buying has been drawn out no doubt.
Price has not moved much at all yet, however the market specialists and professionals are well aware of the strength beginning to emerge, and you can see they have begun positioning for the probable response already.
