The local market showed some increased breadth this week with the Midcap and Small Ordinary sectors joining the Parent Index above the resistance line. Look for this to be confirmed over the next few weeks (or not...).
The Miners and the Gold sectors are showing resilience against commodity price pressure due to increasing strength in the US Dollar.
The Energy sector also saw some buying demand come in.
Finally the Healthcare sector accelerated higher and closed mid bar on about average volume.
