I reckon that the BG deal is enough for a re-rating of QGC. It almost implied that BG may wish to take a larger equity stake down the track .. so that won't have hurt sentiment. Remember that prices for LNG are close to double what QGC will be getting selling locally (yes I know there will also be higher costs). A first starter advantage will also now be attached to QGC by the market as it has the running on LNG in Queensland ahead of STO and AOE and others.
