Todda, I can’t disagree with anything you said, however trading/investing in markets is not about deciphering different agendas on here, it’s simply about trading/investing well. In fact for amateurs I would recommend not even looking on here. There are countless traps on sites similar to this. You would be better off joining a site like this one http://www.tradersnetwork.org where you can gain true market knowledge.

I believe the act of throwing money into spec stocks should be called trading rather than investing as it clearly involves one to be more proactive, flexible and dynamic. I always recommend a book my father gave me when I was young which got me into the game called “Reminiscences of a Stock Operator”. You will gain much market knowledge from this book. If your looing to become an investor a good book to start with is “The Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham (the man who taught Warren Buffett).
