To go softly would only increase the chance of failure. Erwin tried everything, including using algorithims and computerised trading systems created by his partner at Pegasus to weaken the share price leading up to the AGM also applied to convert and capture frightened shareholders.
He failed but not by much. Or did he. He has said that he will not go away. Just like the other Erwin, "The Desert Fox " he will now reorganize his attack and continue on, because failure is not an option.
