I thought mining Cos were values on what was in the ground because even if one Mining company ends up not extracting the dirt, another one can buy the mining rights and extract the dirt.

In anycase, someone keeps putting in money into the CRs. While that keeps happening you can be sure someone with more knowledge than all of us believes there is potential.
