A journalists job requires them to use proper citations. This isn't about typos. It's the difference between facts and speculation.
When do journalists pump companies up?
JournalIsts are required to produce objective information. Objective information they produced AFTER they published the article. They ammended the article with Afterpays statement which they should have received prior, which is what journalists should do. Good ones. Or they sign off with 'we've reached Afterpay for comment'.
That's a journalists responsibility.
