Construction unions here are strong in certain geographical areas (particularly stagnant urban areas in the Northeast) and completely irrelevant and non existent in the majority of the country- especially the fastest growing areas in the Southeastern US.
The problem with FBR (as I have come around to realize after years of pain) is that it is basically a solution looking for a problem coupled with weak ownership completely incapable of bringing any type of investment hypothesis to the big money in this country.
