Reason for still holding POS

With all the doom and gloom surrounding POS at present it's hard to decipher peoples true reason for still holding POS

I can think of a few such as:

People actually have faith In the Company and management that they can restart this project and make shareholders rich

or

People are that far in the red that they can't exit and are holding in hope that management can turn it around

or

Hoping that a take over occurs so they can recoup as much money as possible from what they invested

or

Freehold their shares and are awaiting the right time to exit with as much profit as possible
