Air New Zealand slashes fares with Pacific Express

Sydney - Wednesday - March 3: (RWE) - Air New Zealand says it
has reduced lead-in economy and business class airfares to Pacific
Island destinations by up to 64 per cent.
On sale today, for travel from May 20, Air New Zealand's Pacific
Express Fares will offer low year-round airfares for tourists, friends
and family travelling between New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, and
also between the islands and Australia.
Pacific Express will deliver average savings of 54 per cent on
lead-in airfares for travel from New Zealand to the Pacific Island
destinations of the Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.
New Caledonia is expected to be included in Pacific Express once
necessary approvals have been received.
Shares in Air New Zealand yesterday fell 1.5c to 34.5c.
