Born in i932. Bouight started full time work in 1947 started investing at age 18.It was quite legal.
This is how I see ESI.
    I. An ethical investment.(Polution will ruin the earth)
    2. Has the ability to own important technology.
    3. Has not a good history. Is repairing that but the market remembers and goodwill must be earnt.
    4. Is seriously underfunded to develop the technology.
    5. Technology has a habit of being superseeded or copied so speed of development is the essence of the contract.
    6. Penny stocks are penny stocks because the market judges them that way. Why are they penny stocks? because the company has used/spent the rest of the original capital.
    7. penny stocks are diluted greatly with any SPP.
    8. Commercialisation of the technology will require a lot of capital. those supplying that capital will want the lions share of the profit. More dilution.
    9. There will be a lot more talk and no action on the global warming front.
    10. The world financial crisis events lead to a slow down in the take up of new technology.

Having said that I do consider ESI a reasonable spec investment. Talk on these threads are overenthuastic. The shares are not in short supply, the take up of the SPP proved that. I do not think they will "rocket off". I'm often wrong and have some dog stocks to prove it. Most of the dogs I have owned have been penny specs. About one in ten come off. When they do it is bonus time but they usually only make up for the ones that flop.
My advice; Only invest in spec stocks with money you can afford to lose. Do your own research and keep an open mind.
