The stock has been dropping since 17 Sep, so I don't think what happened last night has much bearing.

After rallying for 2 months plus and hitting medium term broker forecasts in much shorter time period than the brokers framed them in, you should really be looking for reasons why it won't correct. In EXT's case there was an upbeat announcement that delayed the inevitable.

Which was, predictably, that some would have to sell down their positions to take up the SPP, and even though those sellers probably don't account for the whole fall, it could easily have been enough of a sneeze to cause an avalanche, especially when the liquidity is so thin. Everyone uses tight liquidity as an argument for the price to rise, but many forget that it works both ways.
