BB don’t really don’t benefit long term investors. Long term shareholders prefer a higher tangible dividend instead of the company risking their rightful component of profit.
This is simply catering for the big end of town who would be the participants in trading shares during the BB.
For the remainder, it similar to the general comment made about a sharemarkets crash, if u don’t sell it, it’s only a paper loss.
When it comes to BB, for non-trader it could end up being a paper gain or loss.
