You can rest assured that emerging economies are rubbing there hands together at the status of thermal and the amount of projects that are now an economical option that may have been border line a year or so ago. They (China, India, Phillys, Thais, Indos, etc etc) will only look at the bottom line and affordability to generate power> If its uranium then thats what theyll use, if its gas then gas, so I suppose that one good thing to come from this is these economies may be more enclined to build Thermal Coal burners rather than other energy options that will commit them to TC in the future?
