I think Van Eck have roughly halved their SLR shares in their gold junior ETF 75mil a year or so ago to roughly 38 million shares a fortnight or so ago (I checked their website). The truth is that - who knows what VE will do?? I think that it would actually be highly imprudent of them to dump these shares for a measly few Million. Only to have to plough it back into some other little goldie. If they did dump these shares over a month, daily volume would tick up a little and price would dive a few cents, only to recover straight away (after dust settles- probably). Maybe this is the final washout required to really put in a bottom. Anyway, I'm not offloading any shares in anticipation of VE selling. I'll buy the dip if they do though.
