Eiffel Technologies enters collaboration with Nanotechnology Victoria towards advanced transdermal drug delivery
Sydney, Australia. -- Eiffel Technologies Limited (ASX: EIF) announced today that it has entered into a collaboration with Nanotechnology Victoria (“NanoVic”) to evaluate the application of Eiffel’s intellectual property to the production of nanomaterials suitable for transdermal delivery. This is the first collaborative project to be undertaken by Eiffel in the field of transdermal drug delivery.

Under the agreement, NanoVic will provide funding of $125,000 to Eiffel for the development of nanosphere particulate formulations of therapeutic proteins. Development-scale batches will then be provided to NanoVic for evaluation of delivery performance using advanced transdermal drug delivery systems under development by NanoVic and its collaborators at Monash University College of Pharmacy and MiniFAB.

The work is expected to take approximately six months and further commercial discussions will be held once the results of the preliminary studies are available."
