This whole discussion has been about men who....voluntarily and happily....chose a life without a woman.

It is not a discussion about single adult men as a single group because most of them would rather live with a woman and are almost certainly unhappy about the fact they don't (with depression, excessive alcohol consumption poor diet etc as a result).
