The latest open short positions report shows 2.74% short so I would not consider NTC to be heavily shorted. Telit (LON:TCM) has an open short position of 10.7%, that is what I consider heavily shorted.

I am not sure how you come up with a valuation of $3, you must be using an optimistic deployment for the US fixed wireless project.

As I have said many times before, let this stock run its course until it finds a reasonable valuation, much closer to $1 and/or sometime towards the end of 2017.
