I think what people maybe concerned about is that, notwithstanding this groups own shareholding, if Zijin were to negotiate with a smaller group an advantageous price, it could get to a position much quicker for compulsory acquisition. It then has more knowledge of its bid price and less hassle to offer a price more appeasing to the larger body.
I guess people are interested in what could be viewed as being analogous to another BEE partner negotiating unilaterally with Z. Naturally, as i've mentioned before, all SH have the right to maximise their own wealth. The markets are not a union or collective bargaining site.
