What worries is even without short sell, 1PG is still heading south more than most of others.

In saying that, by looking at trading pattern during the day, shorters again gave a bit weight when they are needed. let's see tomorrow's shorts data.

The above table you posted was only referring to daily Gross new short positions, did not include end of day open positions.
ASIC short position reporting gives accumulated net short positions at each day, there were 4.267m accumulated short positions as at 7 June 2016. Although not many new gross shorts, but accumulated open short positions at a very high level for 1PG.
