I think Defence is spinning on its heels at the moment in the Aura of Trumpism and question whether AUKUS was a good idea. Probably considering groveling back to the French asking if they will count the 800 odd million bucks we paid out on the contract will be recognised as a construction payment if we go back.

AR9 won't even be a thought at the moment.

This is what happens when you partner in Defence with a loser - Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq.....
