IMO decent people who own shares want ethical conduct by the companies they invest in.
The reality is the biggies are making good money already and the shareholders have benefited.
The govt has been selling the view that jobs and growth are flying high so there is no need for a tax cut to big banks and multi-nationals that minimise tax anyway and in the case of the BIG banks engage in unethical behaviour.

Instead of legislating tax cuts for big business in advance when there are so many unknowns as to what will happen with world economies in the future they should focus on helping our small and medium businesses including in farming that employ Australian workers. To legislate cuts to Big multi-nationals into the future in the current climate imo is the height of arrogance.

Decent folk who own shares want returns and growth - ethical conduct has nothing to do with your argument against tax cuts.

The reality is the biggies are making good money already and the shareholders have benefited.

The alternate reality is that in this global economy business needs to be on a level playing field to compete

Again unethical behaviour has nothing to do with tax cuts - I know that your labor mind puts the two toigether but wakey wakey there.
I agree that multi nationals should pay their fair share and both parties need to work on that with a tax that works - the MRT just taxed Australian companies worse and again another labor tax failure

Just shows you have no idea really - unknowns means being on that same playing field so when the unknowns happen we can compete - tax can always be put up for companies if needed.

You really need to stick your head outside of you box and have a look at what is happening around the world and what we are competing against.
