IMO decent people who own shares want ethical conduct by the companies they invest in.
The reality is the biggies are making good money already and the shareholders have benefited.
The govt has been selling the view that jobs and growth are flying high so there is no need for a tax cut to big banks and multi-nationals that minimise tax anyway and in the case of the BIG banks engage in unethical behaviour.

Instead of legislating tax cuts for big business in advance when there are so many unknowns as to what will happen with world economies in the future they should focus on helping our small and medium businesses including in farming that employ Australian workers. To legislate cuts to Big multi-nationals into the future in the current climate imo is the height of arrogance.
