Well there will be no QF dividends for the foreseeable future, this is a certainty; and capital growth in QF is definitely not on the horizon. As you said, this will take years for QF to recover, if not close to a decade.
I will look at buying QF when/if it gets to around ~$1; as it did back in 2012-2014.
