Unfortunately big business owns the media and therefore can manipulate public opinion.  Once you can manipulate public opinion you effectively own enough of the government and the courts to make them ineffective as a tool of the general public.  

Big business, the legal system, politicians and the media have a higher percentage of psychopaths than the broader population.  Expecting them to actually care about shareholders is a bit like asking a male to give birth.  It is not a choice for them, they are incapable of caring.  I lost over $1,000,000 by not understanding this.  

I have no doubt many will write me off as a crackpot conspiracy theorist so feel free to ignore my comments and learn the lesson for yourself. We were screwed.  I'm out for good.
