No corporate tax relief for 10 years, only an agreement not to raise taxes over the first 10 years.
Malawi corp tax for mining projects is 30% plus an extra 15% of after tax profit as a Resource Rent Tax (in addition to the 5% Royalty on revenue). Fair enough I say, for too many years Africa has been screwed with tax holidays and/or transfer pricing schemes to make sure very profitable mines looked anything but to the countries tax dept...
