Perhaps someone can correct me, but I've never seen vitiligo as a huge market. Estimated cases in the US are 2.5M. Only 8-10% of those are stable vitiligo, the indication for which it's approved. So 250k potential patients from age 7 to 90. All current cases. Half of those may choose to get Recell treatment? Eventually whatever current cases choose treatment will get worked through. A few years perhaps? Then your market becomes whatever stable vitiligo cases present themselves each year. Which won't be a very large market.
An oral jak inhibitor to stabilze vitiligo would certainly help to expand that market size. But there are none approved yet, and they seem to have some fairly serious side effects.
If I'm mistaken would love to hear about it.
