I have been watching the unfolding conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan and noting the significant impact of drone warfare on ground forces. Aerial footage released by both sides have shown the devastating effect of drone strikes from "suicide" drones and standoff missile drones. I believe the Azeris employ both types and that they are sourced from Israel and their close ally Turkey.
I initially became interested in EOS following the Houthi drone attacks on Saudi Arabia. The success of those strikes presented a situation of significant cost asymmetry between the attacker employing drones (low) and the defender deploying conventional air defense systems (potentially extremely high). In this instance the air defense completely failed to prevent or reduce the damage inflicted. Another news detailed a successful drone defense by Saudi Arabia using a missile defense system against an alleged Iranian drone. The costs of the missile fired at the drone was estimated to be $3 million. The costs of the drone it shot down: a couple hundred dollars (not including the explosive payload it carried).
The extensive deployment of drones is clearly being adopted by small and medium nations and I believe any laggards will move quickly after seeing the devastation and, frankly, terror of being on the receiving end of drone warfare.
As it relates to this stock, I would like to ask the forum where exactly are EOS' counter drone products situated and how good are they? From what I have seen of the promotional videos the EOS' counter drone remote weapon systems would seem to be effective against suicide drones rather than standoff weapons platforms, such as missile carrying predator drones. Thoughts?
