True, they could make a statement, but its also true it wouldn't add much to what we can already guess.
However the delay does mean they haven't abandoned the trial and the possibility of a submission to Medsafe. It does mean that the results they have so far are not considered sufficient.
So the share price will do whatever it will do in the mean time.
