1) Newcrest presented at the Denver Gold Forum - this is how minningnews reported it.

Havieron missing from Newcrest's Colorado presentation

THE most interesting part of Newcrest Mining managing director Sandeep Biswas’ presentation to the Gold Forum Americas overnight wasn’t what he said – it was what he didn’t say.

Biswas delivered a 20-minute presentation during the forum's super-session of majors comprising Newmont Corporation, Barrick Gold and Agnico Eagle Mines. What was most notable about his presentation was that he didn't mention the Havieron project in Western Australia once.

Even the stalled Wafi-Golpu gold-copper project in Papua New Guinea and the inactive Namosi copper project in Fiji got a mention

2) Just got the e-mail from Greatland Gold about the General Meeting to approve that debt funding and issue of shares to Wyloo.

Newcrest seem really peeved......could they make a move to disrupt that meeting to approve those resolutions.

Will be an interesting time coming up to the 7th of Oct...i'm thinking it might get rocky.

3) Greatland will present at that forum too, will be interesting to hear their pitch now.
