The new site has enough space to have a Gigafactory on it aswell. There were 5 Gigafactory bidders and 2 advanced in November - the 8bn bid came in March. Gigafactory and lithium mining a priority to the Czech Republic.
It also allows for increase in production - currently 30,000
Offtake details are expected before DFS - DFS is being finalised and full offtake partnership expected to come with a pre payment contribution towards FID
€49million JTF grant updates over May june and final in July - the 40bn Just Transition fund was set up to transion the EU away from coal - there 1.6bn for the Czech Republic and there's 350million going to the 11 strategic projects, EMH/CEZs Cinovec being one
DFS updated completion date in the next 2 - 3 weeks
EBRD who hold €6million at 42.3 aligned to support final investment decision and mentions of French bank and European investment bank
