That is a good question Andy. I only know of one ETF that tracks the ASX300 which is Vanguard's VAS. ARQ's contribution to the ASX300 is 0.005% and the VAS fund is worth $15.8B. This means that the fund likely holds $790k worth of stock or about 1.1M shares. Based on the daily churn they could offload this stock in a day or two. My preference would obviously be that they stay in the ASX300 and there is still time, the rebalance isn't done until the third week of September.
