"Mr Rijntjes is unconcerned. He believes that Philips has done the right thing by developing its technology in-house, although this has taken much longer.
“We started quite some time ago, but it’s a brand new and breakaway kind of technology – it always takes time to develop that.”
They must have some kind of secret ingredient that sets it apart from the rest - allows them to multiplex, high sensitivity, speed etc ...
