Well considering they sold all the equipment to Fura I don't think they would be in a position to do this even if they thought it would get the market excited. The diamonds were pre the current management involvement in MUS and they never seemed keen on them.
A more interesting question is what happened to the diamonds they found. They were in a safe supposedly, but given this is MUS who knows.
