Citi Resmed Valuation
We derive our 12-month price target for the ASX-listed CDIs of $5.26 by using a PE
of ~15x and applying it our forecast 12-month forward USD EPS at this time,
adjusting for the 10:1 conversion ratio, and applying the Citi forecast AUDUSD rate
at this time, i.e. ~0.99. The PE we apply is a ~25% premium to the average PE of
our healthcare coverage universe which we think is appropriate given RMD's higher
growth profile than the average and superior balance sheet, offset by significant FXrelated volatility. This premium is a 10% discount to its historical premium to the
sector average to reflect the current increased FX volatility/uncertainty.
