My guess is that investors are buying in early for a ticket. Retail shares hit the market on the 26th of June, Tesla's battery presentation is expected this month. What happens if it's before the shares hit? What would happen if Novonix was hinted at during the presentation? What would happen if Elon expressed the desire to reduce exposer to China in the supply chain. Even if Elon doesn't mention anything Novonix related, samples are to be tested by Samsung in October, Sanyo MOU could materialise into more depending on Samsung's independent audit. I agree that buying shares right now does not seem logical, however; a lot stranger things have happened in the markets over the last 3 months. This space is hot, we are early, this is rare. I'm not saying the price won't retrace, this stock is volatile, however; I can understand the argument to buy shares now. You would gain exposure to this company's potential, which is significant.
