Not sure why the share price is weak. My anecdotal thoughts are that it is seen as counter cyclical stock at the moment. When interest expectations are dovish, then risk is on, people sell IAG and move to other 'riskier' stocks. The other risk, is maybe the hot weather in NSW, investors may see as a fire risk which could impact the share price? I think this is short sighted. The insurance companies have all increased their premiums to cover these risks, particularly for homes at risk, plus they will be earning a lot of good interest on the prepaid premiums now.
