There were some big trades in gold stocks after 4.00pm today. But what piqued my interest in particular were those of RED and GMD. This seems fairly significant activity as far as these two stocks are concerned and could perhaps be a bit more than simply index rebalancing.

It just makes me wonder if there's a "Leonora consolidation" theme playing out here - one which may not be initiated by GMD (as widely rumoured) but one which may actually involve GMD as a target (and RED too).

As I always do, I'll be watching out for Substantial Shareholder Notices to see if they can cast any light on what's happening.

you just may have hit the nail on the head. Both RED & GMD traded over 200,000,000 shares today. I did mention last week something is brewing and a matter of time before all comes to light
