Recent trading and FWIW

My IRESS tells me that early last week, 1.996m were sold through Petra capital (unusual as they are resource specialists) but this has stopped so order done. Other notable sellers (for the 7 trading days to Tues) have been UBS (969k) still going I believe and a punter from Euroz quickly coughed up 807K late last week.

On the buy side the Macquarie retail desk has been very busy soaking up 2.249 @4.3c. This is nearly 50% of all volume so its significant. But they have been consistent and regular buyers having bought a net 5.4m this month and another 2.37m in Feb.

I wont know until early who did the big trades over the past 2 days, but it would appear they're done for the moment.


FWIW, I did catch up with the road show and felt that SC was more specific/confident than usual about the type of deal they were working for Artemist. He also re-stated the usual "multiples of cost" ($10m) as upfront. This inferred to me that details of a term sheet could be fairly advanced. But Beal is right....SUD don't control the timelines of $100+B coys.
