recent volume???

Anyone want to hazard a guess at what's driving the increase volume over the past week or so?

Back ground:
I've been watching fas for about 18 mnth and bought my initial parcel @$0.16 on 6/6/08 and watched it rise to around $0.22 (from memory) on the hope of oil in northen Victoria.
Got another parcel on 8/5/09 at $0.06 after a short run up from the mid $0.02's.
This week for no other reason than a feeling in my gut (because of the volume increase) I have Tripled my holdings buying at an avg of $0.041 on 1/9/09

I've been looking far and wide for potential reasons for the volume increase but to no avail. GWR are holding station or slightly decreasing so that confuses me even more.
