To all the people above who think the prank/publicity was unrelated to this suicide I think you grossly underestimate the power of this much public exposure. Especially where you could expect the public mood to be critical.
Look at the Kony 2012 guy and Charlotte Dawson.
Celebrities put their hand up for this level of public exposure, they are trained how to deal with it and have media advisors etc. and they still can't cope with it some times. How much more a nurse who is just trying to do her job caring for people?
Whatever mitigating circumstances there are in her life eg. depression/sensitivity, as mentioned above, these should have been taken into account before the prank was played. Not everyone is a brash arrogant radio host! You would expect someone who chooses to be a nurse to have a level of sensitivity wouldn't you?
This prank could have possibly been funny if it had been recognised as a prank but as soon as there was personal info given up they should have ended the call.
