The thing we need to remember is that companies with a direct exposure to consumer spending will be hit hardest in terms of revenue. You will note AS' response at the AGM that BAE is recession proof business. I certainly witnessed him saying this. The seatbelt deal is also closer to a recession proof deal.
If they can get this deal(s) over the line early next year we are set. I bet that the spike we have seen today is directors buying again. We will soon find out no doubt.
The fact that AS and JF are still buying gives me every assurance that TZ is safe and secure. How/why on earth would directors purchase such large amounts into a company that even remotely had a chance of not surving this downturn. It completely conflicts to the suggesstion of business failure in my mind.
Yes, I admit, if it wasn't for the directors buying I would be less comforted however they are and they are buying big and I expect more buying to come so watch this space.
