i agree with most of what you say about SOM as a company . It has been a very poorly run company for a number of yrs . Hopefully ,now, there are some good business heads at the top
I do not agree with CPAP v's MAS. CPAP is not 100% effective and only has about a 30% compliance rate .
MAS is a far better option for most people , other than the those with severe sleep apnoea. The problem with MAS is that, until SOM ,the products have been very poor . SOM has a huge chance to grab a big slice of a growing market .
It takes a long time to change specialist's practice , especially when a lot have research funded by RMD and the other CPAP makers .
