I gather you are intrigued (or at least a little bit interested) to learn more; especially if what I am saying is true. I assure you that it is.
The founder of the company was investigating the link between Alzheimers and the inability to remember, when he moved into the area of whether biological functions (similar to that used in the brain) could be used in flash memory chips. These endeavours were successful. He then appears to have moved on to look investigate how electrical currents are stored and move ‘biologically’. As far as I can gather, this transition resulted in him forming the ‘start-up’ company.
The start-up now has over 30 staff, 20 of whom hold PHD’s, in a range of disciplines. They have raised more money and are currently hiring.
