Yes, I did say that I "think" that the SPP will be oversubscribed, but what would I know? I just hope that it is oversubscribed, or even better - heavily over subscribed. Good for the company and good for shareholders - in the long term.

As far as the financial considerations are concerned, I believe that to the people that have hundreds of thousands of shares, the impact would be minimal. But then, it is really up to the individual to decide.

You obviously consider yourself, and even sound like a very wise individual, but I will not be taking your advice. I will be participating in the SPP and I am particularly pleased that the money will be going to the company.
