I cannot believe that you had to provide such an obvious answer to her. I am absolutely flabbergasted that given the amount of debate and evidence waved in front of their faces, some people still cannot see the wood for the trees - it's like a pea soup fog that never lifts in front of their eyes.

If they cannot understand that Political Correctness has battered and dumbed our Western legal systems into submission (or even acknowledge that the system is so much more tolerant - far overly so) and hence completely stifling our ability to be able to respond accordingly to behaviour that is not in keeping with the morals that our forebears set out, then there is a serious disconnect out there.
