A leading broker retained a "hold" on Riversdale after its result which came in above expectations, following disposal of 35 pct of the Benga and Tete exploration tenements to Tata Steel Ltd. The broker said, "In our view RIV is valued and priced on the Benga coking coal project, which continues to progress. Key milestones will be future resource upgrades and in particular the feasibility study in early 2009".
RIV up 5c to $9.76.
