Not the case. Or more to the point, they may be 'advertised' but trust me - actually trying to get shares for some IPOs is impossible, unless you're 'in'.
Not sure that $100M mc rule is anything but an old wife's tale that gets thrown around on the forum, but happy to be proven wrong. Perhaps I should have said 'corporate' investors.
